Sargission Beach Committee Seeking Volunteers Once More

The Sargisson Beach Committee is seeking volunteers to help prepare the beach for the upcoming season!!
The beach will be re-opening on May 27th, 2024! We have a number of projects we need your help with to get it ready!!
Come down and meet your fellow neighbors and residents of Groton and help cleanup the beach!!
9:00 AM start at the Sargisson Beach Parking Area, if you arrive later walk down to the beach.
Directions: Drive North on Whiley Road from Four Corners near Shaws. Look for the Sargisson Beach Conservation Land sign on your left.
Activities:
- Pulling buoys out of the shed.
What to Wear: work gloves, closed toed shoes/hiking boots, long pants.
Hand Tools: rakes.
