Groton Repair Cafe is Back!
November 7, 2026 from 10 am to 1 pm

Bring your broken items—shirts missing buttons, lamps with faulty switches, necklaces with lost clasps, or small appliances—and our skilled local volunteers will help repair them on the spot. At the Repair Café, volunteers with expertise in clothes, furniture, electronics, toys, and more will guide you in bringing new life to your items. This hands-on approach not only teaches valuable skills but also helps reduce waste, save money, and promote a culture of care.
Fixers Can Fix:
Sewing/needlework: fixing seams in clothes and quilts, replacing buttons, and mending knitted sweaters
Jewelry or Handbags
Toys
Bikes
Small Kitchen Appliances: coffee makers, toasters, mixers, knife sharpening
Small Furniture: lamps, table fans, chairs, tables, sewing machines, minor upholstery like seats and stools
Small Electronics: clocks, flashlights, printers, and 3D printers
Small Gardening Tools: lawn mowers, hoses
Technology Support for Computers, Laptops, Mobile Phones, and Tablets
Repair Cafés make a real difference:

**This is a FREE Event open to the public.**
Upon registration, you’ll be asked to let us know what you plan to bring and select your preferred time slot.
Available time slots:
- 10:00–11:00 AM
- 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
- 12:00–1:00 PM
