About
The Groton Country Club and Recreation Authority manages and operates the Groton Country Club and Recreation Department directly and through contracts with third parties for the benefit of the residents of the Town of Groton.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* providing quality and affordable recreation programs for the town
* maintaining the premises of the Country Club
* overseeing the fiscal responsibilities associated with recreation and the Groton Country Club
The town purchased the Country Club from Wang Laboratories in 1991 in an effort to maintain the open space and to provide a recreational facility for inhabitants of the town.
