About
The Trails Vision Committee brainstorms, prototypes and implements ideas to better link the community at-large with the vast natural areas in Groton. It also provides resources on the contents of those lands and how they're linked to regional trail systems and resources. Our goals are as follows:
- Education related to our local history and fauna
- Connecting people and places in Groton (e.g. viewsheds) – support additional parking efforts
- Advertising what the Town already has in place
- Creating walkable communities for all people – of all ages and abilities; major roads should have safe passage for pedestrians
- Create health and recreation opportunities
