Park Commission Vacancy
As required by MGL Chapter 41, Sections 10 and 11, there exists a vacancy on the Groton Park Commission, with the term to expire in May, 2029. All interested individuals shall complete a Committee Interest Form by Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Interested applicants will be interviewed by the Select Board and Park Commission in Joint Session on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 6:15 p.m., held in Town Hall.
A final appointment to fill the said vacancy shall be made at this meeting after the interview. Said appointment shall be until the 2027 Annual Town Election at which time said vacancy shall appear on the Annual Election Ballot for the remaining two years of said term.
