BALLOON TEST FOR A PROPOSED WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS TOWER
Groton-Dunstable Regional High School, 703 Chicopee Row
Please be advised that Structure Consulting Group will perform a balloon test beginning on Monday, April 27, 2026, weather permitting, in support of a Special Permit Application for a proposed cell tower installation on the property of Groton-Dunstable Regional High School, 703 Chicopee Row.
The test will be conducted in 4-hour periods on a minimum of 3 consecutive days, if weather conditions allow. The balloon is scheduled to float each day from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The balloon test is a requirement pursuant to the Groton Zoning Bylaw, Section 218-10.1. The proposed cell tower is a 120-foot monopole structure with a 5-foot lightning rod (125-foot total height). The Special Permit Application has been submitted by Tower Com C-PRV.
