Groton Housing Authority Vacancies
Tenant Board Seat: This Notice is to inform you that the Town of Groton is soliciting names for consideration to fill the Town Appointed Tenant Board Member seat of the Groton Housing Authority. As a Tenant Member of the Local Housing Authority (LHA), you will receive training provided by the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) as well as any training that may be required by law for public officials. To be considered for the LHA Town Appointed Board Member Seat, please contact the Town Clerk’s Office to request an application at (978) 448-1100 or townclerk@grotonma.gov and submit said form to the Office of the Town Clerk, Groton Town Hall, 173 Main Street, Groton, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
Interested candidates will be interviewed in a Joint Session by the Groton Housing Authority and the Select Board at a meeting to be determined. The chosen candidate will serve until June 30, 2027.
Unfilled Elected Seat: Additionally, the Groton Housing Authority has one unfilled elected seat. All interested individuals are encouraged to submit a Committee Interest Form by Thursday, August 7, 2025. Committee Interest Forms are available on the Town’s website: https://www.grotonma.gov/government/boards-and-committees/committee-interest-form/.
