The Groton Invasive Species Committee presents Lingering Ash
Wednesday, June 11, 2025 starting at 7:00 PM
Legion Hall, 75 Hollis Street, Groton, MA 01450
This talk will start with a brief overview of the Emerald Ash Borer, which is killing ash trees from Michigan to New England. While most ash in our area are already dead, there is a glimmer of hope. This talk will discuss programs to find resistant trees (lingering ash), the success of breeding efforts so far nationwide, what is happening in our region, and how you can help.
You can make a difference. Come and learn how.
Legion Hall will be open to the public at 6:30 pm for networking time and light refreshments. The feature presentation will start promptly at 7:00 pm.
