Covid-19 Update for Town Hall

Last week, the Select Board voted to close Town Hall to the public and be by appointment only. That went into effect on Monday, December 27, 2021.

Since that Order, we have seen an increase in the number of cases at Town Hall that has led the Town Manager to recommend that Town Hall and the Center in West Groton be closed to all, and have employees work remotely through January 18, 2022. This is being done in an abundance of caution to stem the outbreak of COVID-19 cases among Town employees and in an effort to get everyone back to work as soon as possible.

There will be no access to Town Hall or the Center during this closure. Employees will be working remotely and will be responding to phone messages and emails. The Drop Box at the rear of Town Hall can be used to drop off letters and bill payments. It will be checked periodically.

The Town Manager appreciates your patience and understanding as we try to do our best to protect our employees and public during this very difficult time. As always, the Town appreciates your patience and understanding.
