Today, April 15, 2020, the Town of Groton conducted a bid opening for the Prescott School Fire Protection/Sprinkler Project. Bids were uploaded on the Town’s Website and open and read aloud by the Town Manager at 10:00 a.m. as called for in the Bid Specification Package. The results are as follows:
Xcel Fire Protection – $249,400
Carlysle Engineering – $463,000
The Bids have been taken under advisement and will be reviewed. An award for this project is subject to appropriation at the 2020 Spring Town Meeting and will be made within 30 days.
