The Groton Public Library is being re-carpeted starting Monday, April 29, 2019. The Library will be open regular hours but with limited adult and teen services on the first floor. The 2nd & 3rd floors will be closed. Children’s is not be re-carpeted and will remain fully functional. We anticipate this project taking 2 weeks through approximately mid-May. To prepare for this project, the Library will be closed on Sunday, April 28.
All items checked out at Groton on or after April 9 will have an extended due date of May 21. No overdue fines will accrue during this time. Items may be returned to the library at any time. Holds and museum passes will be available for pick up, there will be a small collection of materials to browse and borrow, and two express computer stations.
