IMPORTANT COVID-19 NOTICE:
Safety concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic period is a valid reason to use Absentee Voting. Absentee Voting is encouraged to help enhance the safety of voters and poll workers.
To help enhance voter and poll worker safety, Absentee Voting is encouraged for the May 24, 2022 Town Election. An Absentee Ballot application can be found here.
The polling hours for the Tuesday, May 24, 2022 Town Election are 7AM to 8PM.

An application is required and can be found here. A ballot will be mailed to you.
The last day to request an Absentee Ballot by Mail is Wednesday, May 18 at 5:00 PM. Ballots must be received by the Town Clerk’s Office by election day.
The voter registration deadline:
If you are not already a registered voter in Groton, the deadline is Wednesday, April 8, 2022 at 8:00 PM.
You can register or check your voter registration on-line here. You may also register by mail or in person at the Town Clerk’s Office, 173 Main Street. As Town Hall may closed to the public at times due to COVID-19, please note that online voter registration is possible.
