Early Voting

Early Voting for Massachusetts elections is enabled in a statute passed in 2015.

The Presidential Primary will be held on March 3, 2020. Polls will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM. There will be Early Voting for the Primary. Early Voting will be held the week of February 24:

Monday February 24 8AM to 7PM
Tuesday February 25 8AM to 4PM
Wednesday February 26 8AM to 4PM
Thursday February 27 8AM to 7PM
Friday February 28 8AM to 1PM

Early Voting will take place at Town Hall, 173 Main Street, Groton.



Polling locations are changing! Effective with the March 3, 2020 Primary, polling locations will be:

Precinct 1            The Groton Center, 163 West Main Street, Groton

Precinct 2            Groton Country Club, 94 Lovers Lane, Groton

Precinct 3            Town Hall, 173 Main  Street, Groton

The voter registration deadline, if you are not already a registered voter in Groton, is Wednesday, February 12 at 8:00 PM. You can register or check your voter registration on-line at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/OVR/. You may also register by mail or in person at the Town Clerk’s Office, 173 Main Street.
